This piece is inspired by one of my favourite places on Vancouver Island; a quiet stretch of shoreline where I can always find a moment of peace. I love spending time here at sunset, watching Great Blue Herons move along the shore as they hunt in the shallows. I wanted this print to capture that feeling of stillness and the quiet beauty of the West Coast. A small reminder of those peaceful evenings spent by the water.

This piece was inspired by a special orca encounter I shared with my sister. We rushed down to the shore when we heard they were nearby and watched as they moved through the water, illuminated by the setting sun. The water was almost completely still, and for a moment, everything seemed to slow down. This print is my attempt to capture a little bit of that feeling; the stillness, the awe, and the magic of seeing orcas along the West Coast.
